Lachlan Oldaker, RA - Senior Equestrian Architect

Ms. Oldaker has been GH2’s Senior Equestrian Architect and Planner over 25 years and has been the lead designer on all of our equestrian projects since her initial training with Stan Gralla back in the 1980’s. She is an avid equestrian and has been for 40 years. She is directly involved in the planning, design and production of all equine facility projects undertaken by the firm and excels in designing elegant, safe, and user-friendly equestrian facilities of all types.

Stan W. Gralla, AIA, NCARB - Principal, Founder

Mr. Gralla founded the firm in 1972, and has over 45 years experience as an architect. He has been the principal and architect-in-charge of a variety of projects, including schools, banks, apartments and nursing homes, as well as industrial, recreational and equine facilities including racing, breeding and show facilities.

A partial listing of projects under his design that have received design awards are Rogers Middle School, Fidelity Express Bank, Bell Telephone Customer Display Room, two Telephone Service Buildings, Renovation & Addition to the McClain County Courthouse, St. Eugene Community Center and Bodine Baptist Church, all in Oklahoma.

Jim Kudrna, AIA - Director of Design

Mr. Kudrna is a Director of Design at GH2, bringing over 25 years of design and academic experience in the field of architecture and design. Mr. Kudrna has worked on a variety of project types, including heath care projects, hotel and hospitality projects, residential and justice facility projects.

Mr. Kudrna has participated successfully in numerous design competitions and exhibitions throughout his career, and has participated in numerous NCARB and AIA Work-Groups and Committees. His academic experience at the University of Oklahoma provides design insight and understanding of the modern educational facility.

Michael R. Hall, AIA, CCS - Principal

Mr. Hall is a principal and architect at the firm. Mr. Hall directs the operation of the firm and is responsible for design, production, and management of architectural services rendered on all projects undertaken by GH2. Mr. Hall's 20 years of experience includes design and management in all project phases for a wide range of project types, including health care facilities, justice facilities, multi-use meeting and conference facilities, private residences, park facilities, historic preservation projects, and office facilities.

Mr. Hall is a Registered Architect in 34 states, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is also a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT), and Certified Construction Specifier (CCS).

Cara Shimkus Hall, FAIA, Esq. - Principal

Ms. Hall is a principal and architect responsible for all hospitality projects in the firm. Her more than 20 years experience includes working directly with clients, the project team, government officials, regulatory agencies, developers, property owners, adjacent land owners and brokers to achieve successful projects. She is also an attorney with extensive planning and zoning hearing experience nationwide, who has successfully obtained all necessary development approvals for significant projects in hundreds of different jurisdictions throughout the United States. Her design and prototype experience with many of the major hospitality flags is a significant asset to clients during the design and approval process for every hotel project.

Chris Seat, AIA - Principal

Mr. Seat is an architect and principal at the firm. He is responsible for work in all phases of design and construction undertaken by the firm, including programming, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Clients, owners and contractors have praised his ability to effectively work toward the common goal of quality, on-time, on-budget projects.

Mr. Seat has been involved with many different project types; his experience includes working on hospitality, residential, educational, health care facilities, and equine facility projects. He utilizes his creativity and technical ability to produce quality architecture for the clients with whom he works.
